I create handmade, one-of-a-kind, upcycled textile art, full of character, heart, and humor. I also create whimsical ceramics that make people smile. 😀

My goal with the Whimsy Nest is to build a joyful, anti-hustle business that is sustainable for my creativity and energy, and is able to flow with the constantly shifting mediums and projects that are inspiring me.

I prioritize making things slowly, by hand, with quality, care, and joy. I also aim to create art that is gentle on our earth and the by repurposing and scavenging textiles, sourcing materials from friends and neighbors, and supporting my local thrift stores and textile reuse center.
